mmmm cocktail hour! I'll update this from time to time with a great new cocktail recipe. Enjoy.
- 2 oz base spirit (vodka, light rum or brandy)
- 1/2 oz chocolate liqueur
- 1/2 oz white creme de cacao
- Chocolate syrup to coat rim of martini glass
Coat rim of martini glass with chocolate syrup. Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass.
The Martini Girl
I grew up an Army Brat so I still have a thing for men in uniform.
Love movies, travel, reading, martinis, thunderstorms....
I'm a Republican and I do vote. I can be opinionated and I have great intuition when it comes to people.
I'm totally a girly girl with hair, nails, makeup and all. I won't lie, I love getting presents, especially girly stuff like makeup, perfume, flowers, bath stuff, purses, jewelry... need I go on? See wish list to contribute to this cause.
Camping, ballgames, horseback riding and roller derby are things I enjoy as well.
Let's see, what else... need to lose weight and I'm a horrible speller. I swear too much but I think I have a great sense of humor.

My Quote of the Day
January 19, 2009 — Martini Girl
The definition of insanity is when the stuffiness drains out of one nostril but then fills the other simultaneously!
I do get allergies and I started using Benadryl (but it does make me drowsy) but works great. I then switched to Claritin for non drowsy and that works too. Pretty much any of the over the counter stuff I have tried for allergies seems to work pretty darn good.
Right now I have a cold but really didn’t use anything like that. I honestly just toughed it out on the stuffiness. But one thing I did for my sore throat is I did take ibuprofen a few times in the day and it helped. I took some hot showers and ate hot chicken soup which helped. I slept with my vaporizer on at night since dry air is an enemy of flu/cold season. In fact I use it from time to time even when I’m not sick since it’s sooo dry. I drank lots of water. I also rubbed Vicks on my chest and throat at night.
