Today is the 65th anniversary of D-Day. Such an amazing operation on so many levels that took place during World War II. I can’t even begin to describe all the things that amaze me about what took place on this day with the set up leading up to it, the delivery, the men, what they faced, the sacrafice and what this achieved.
This was a time when Americans (and our allies) were no slouches, that’s for sure. It’s no wonder that they are called “the greatest generation.” I give it one word – Moxie.
Not sure about the “other” news channels but Fox News has some really good stuff they are covering. Even with all the speeches going on today about it, I think I’d rather watch the speech Reagan did.
Of course Google marked the occasion today by decorating their logo to celebrate 25 years of the game Tetris. *shakes head*
